What are you currently listening to?


Noticing a theme here, so thought I'd chime in:



The above is probably the song that got me into "Metal" in high school - alongside Hybrid Theory but that's a story for another day. Considering the journey I've been on with my music taste since, I'll always be grateful. I didn't know this in high school, but Cristina Scabbia from Lacuna Coil is opera trained, which probably explains why she can do Gahan some "justice".

Understandably, it won't be for everyone, but I felt the need to share.

That was my cousins favourite band back in high school. He used to play them all the time.

When it comes to classical trained vocals, at least they’re not as bad as Dragonforce…

Tonight I be exploring Phil Ochs - a proper protest song writer from the 60s/70s. Makes Bob Dylan look tame.

WTF happened to protest singers? We need them now more than ever.
