Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Whenever you get to see it yourself the wait will be well worth it. Honestly so proud that it is ours.

I don’t miss queuing for the Soccerbus after I must add with option of Shank’s Pony being much preferable. Yes the walk won’t be for everyone but when the redevelopment hits fruition there should be a favourite bar or restaurant on the way back to the City for everyone.
I visited during the build -almost complete -but the atmosphere is something you can't describe ,so I need that ,the TV doesn't hack it .

10 murders in 10 weeks in NI. Really shocking with the most recent about 30 mins from me. It sounds mad but during the Troubles there was virtually no normal crime at all and any there was ended very quickly and brutally.

It was a man this time but NI has a real issue with violence against women.
Sadly it’s not just NI, in Scotland and most of the UK about 90% of murders of women are by men they know.

Tickets and flights booked for the Leeds game in January, just got to sort accommodation do we go Airbnb or hotel

There is 4 of us so lots of time to get something booked, really looking forward to it, haven’t been back to Liverpool since my mum passed away 2010, I’m going to see a massive difference

Really looking forward to it, anyone want to pick us up at Heathrow ;)
Your mate told me he has his match day routine sorted.

Call me a nut if you will but I expect Sky to downplay our atmosphere at every opportunity even if it means more microphones at the away end. Sky has yet to show city scape with Bramley Moore as the 4th Grace.

Tricky one tbh. It’s more than just a view. GP was so familiar and comfortable. It’s going to take a while to get that feeling at HD it all feels big and new and unfamiliar. But I am enjoying it overall, and it’s a great better view than I had at GP. It’s just that the feels aren’t there yet.
The loss of the match day routine was always the biggest thing for fans to negotiate. It’s huge. You have done it for years .

That’s what I say when people go on about “illegals” (as they describe them) assaulting women - no one is rioting about these shocking statistics. It’s a pet hate of mine to get my blood boiling.
It’s sickening that migrants are labelled as predators but that’s what appears to be the zeitgeist. Someone has to take the blame.

I have seen it first hand as a coach, kids disputing decisions because the ref is a woman. Something has changed in society in respect of how it views females.

*edit on reading it back. The attitude has always been there re the role of the woman of the house. Not violence per se but know your role as a housewife

Oh I agree. But is the narrative changing or do people feel more enabled to say these things? It’s another divisive agenda that’s being pushed. I have serious concerns for my granddaughters future and more so that I’ll not be there or not be able to protect her. I just hope that the good people prevail and what we are hearing is just the vocal minority. I don’t envy kids these days but I guess every generation has it’s challenges.

I think you’re right about that and I also find as I get older I appreciate routine more and deal with change less easily. It’s a bit like changing jobs, in essence you’re doing the same thing but yet everything around you is different.
