Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

The height is bothering me a bit too, if I’m honest, I’m not so good with heights but as I’ve said before I’ll always find something to worry about.😂 I’ll be so happy and grateful just to be there, think I’ve mentioned before there was a time when I couldn’t get past our front door.

You’ll be fine G and you will be amazed at the totally open view you will have compared to GP. Don’t forget to ask the stewards for the lift……..

Well that is truly progress, smothered in the jealousy that I am sending over for the match .

So a general question to all the lucky ones ,how do you feel about the view and the facilities ? Basically how much am I missing !
The view is outstanding compared to what I normally got at Goodison. I was at Goodison over 100 times and TWICE did I get an unobstructed view 😀

The leg room is fantastic for us taller gents and the acoustics are special. Can’t wait to hear how loud it gets for the RS.

Facilities wise, needs more urinals but there is loads of room in the gents to install them. The queues were bad in the concourse but I put that down to people still not knowing where to go and just joining the first queue. For the e-bar there were actually 2 queues, one of which was considerably smaller than the other.

I’m back over in October and the walk out may not be as pleasant but it will be good to see it all lit up this time.

Unlike blue we didn’t have anything to celebrate but decided to head up the coast to Lossiemouth and a wee restaurant on the harbour for lunch. This was followed by a wee stroll for an ice cream, over the bridge to Lossie beach, back to sit on a bench to contemplate our surroundings and watch a seal playing in the river. It was a very pleasant 21deg with a warm wind, hope you had a good day too @blue1948

So it doesn't always rain and blow a gale as the weathermen/women would have us believe . Lovely photos and you should celebrate that ,

Don't make it worse I am so envious it hurts .

Whenever you get to see it yourself the wait will be well worth it. Honestly so proud that it is ours.

I don’t miss queuing for the Soccerbus after I must add with option of Shank’s Pony being much preferable. Yes the walk won’t be for everyone but when the redevelopment hits fruition there should be a favourite bar or restaurant on the way back to the City for everyone.

Tickets and flights booked for the Leeds game in January, just got to sort accommodation do we go Airbnb or hotel

There is 4 of us so lots of time to get something booked, really looking forward to it, haven’t been back to Liverpool since my mum passed away 2010, I’m going to see a massive difference

Really looking forward to it, anyone want to pick us up at Heathrow ;)
