Bakewell Best Bitter - 4.2 %
Eyam Plague Stout - 4.8%
Lagonda Bitter - 5%
Hawk Best Bitter 4.8%
Nectron Smash pale 4.4%
Chatsworth Gold - 4.6%

Another memorable nights drinking in the Peak District.

The Thornbridge Brewery Tap on Friday and s pub crawl around Bakewell last - beautiful place.

There was only one beer out of everything I drank all weekend that I didn’t like and that was the Hawk Best Bitter, which had a really strange caramel taste !

The winner would go to Chatsworth Gold, which just stunning.

Probably the best weekends drinking I’ve had anywhere outside of Belgium 🍻

Only ever been once, had no urge to go again.

The Winter Festival has been cancelled too, as has the Winter edition of the Beer Magazine.

They seem to have got themselves in a bit of a muddle, over the balance of trying to attract new younger members by being progressive and inclusive, without alienating the core older members and as a result have ended up in a kind of " worst of both worlds " situation.

Had a pint of this today, at the Head of Steam in Lime street station.

Cost me around £3.65

Disappointing with an unpleasant sour aftertaste.

I find it difficult these days to find a nice pint of bitter.
