Everton Ticketing Changes

When people who can't get to every game (live elsewhere in the country/abroad, for example, or do shift work) start to have been to Hill Dickinson for the first time, the pent-up demand will drop a certain amount.
Or have the opposite effect, now we're playing s£xy football, and maybe going on a cup run 😉. But there's definitely a lot of 'pent-up'

I live in Scotland and I’ve not looked at getting to a game yet, but I will probably use seat unique when I do.

To go to one game a season, it’s a £60 membership to enter a ballot to pay £75. That’s £135 but I have no guarantee that I will get a ticket for the weekend that I am able to go.

SeatUnique is a bit more but you know you’re getting a ticket and you can plan your life accordingly.

Grim. But I’m the casual fan that they want to fleece.
That's £135 PLUS travel expenses. Certainly not cheap

I fit into that bracket as well. Up to now I haven`t got a membership because I think it is a bit of a scam to squeeze a few quid out of folks for no guaranteed benefit. I may have to fork out in the future if I want to get to a game, but for a first trip the seat unique option might be the way to go down. Funny how they go down the digital ticket line as part of their way to clamp down on ticket touting, but on the other hand are looking for £60 for a membership so you can get in a ballot to hope you get a chance to get a chance to fork out another £75 for a ticket, and as some lads have posted on here, there`s every chance that another lid will rock up with a digital ticket for the same seat, you can get to the turn style to find you can`t get in because someone else was sold the same seat and your ticket won`t let you in, or the funniest one I read, a ST holder gets in to discover the seat they have paid for isn`t there!

Just seen a “Seat Unique” FB advert offering Everton game tickets, in the Hospitality areas of the ground, With a Club View ticket for the Villa game at £159, Trinity Place bar £259 and 5 other “packages” going up to Beyond “Tunnel Club” at an eye watering £949. Unbelievable prices!!. Who are these packages aimed at? Certainly out pricing the regular fan. Is this why there have been pockets of empty seats at the Roma / Brighton games? Are they Seat Unique and no one is paying them prices.
Those prices are outrageous to the normal fan.

I've been trying to work out where the main empty seat blocks are as I sit in the Lower East.

From 2 games I've been to so far I am not sure they are seat unique blocks.

The blocks which seem to have noticeable empty seats are 001 and 200 (West Lower and Upper next to the main premium seats).

Sports Breaks are selling for around £200 and their blocks are 204 and 206. There must be loads of sites that have tickets available at inflated prices but I can't figure out why there are so many empty in 001 and 200.

The Loge seats which range from £1250 per seat through to 3.9k (Merseyside Derby) per seat have all sold out up until the New Year. So whoever they are aimed at, its working for the top end options.

Edit - they've renamed it to Enclosure now and 4 are available for Villa but none for West Ham onwards until the New Year.

Very strange how and when they release these offerings
How can “Beyond” be shown as “sold out seasonally” on the Everton site then appear for sale on “Seat Unique”

I've bought two Seat Unique tickets to the United game in February. I'm living in Germany, so I'll only get to the odd game. When you add the membership price, it's actually not all that more expensive than a normal ticket. But, as you say, it gives you a guarantee of a seat and you can make some of that extra money back by being able to plan hotels and flights further in advance.

I'm sorry, but I am not entering a ballot and hanging around hoping to get a late ticket when I want to go to one match a year. Leisure should be relaxing - not stress. I had the membership last year and still couldn't get a ticket to Goodison, so that was that for me. I'll pay the extra few quid for certainty.

The ballot seems to be a lottery and a trip to a game will need planing and probably to go with a visit to the city, Seat Unique will be the option. They have obviously some sort of agreement with the club (and other clubs / sports events) to buy up blocks of tickets and then sell them on. (For big profits). Just a big money making machine.

Not sure mate, its like they seem to open up availability at certain times. I check all the premium availability every week ( I was interested to know how the top end hospitality sold ) and sometimes it says there's nothing available then a few days later it says 2 tickets or 4 tickets available.

I'm assuming they hold some back to either sell to a 3rd party or for us to pay huge sums of money for the fun of it

The cheapest seat unique seats seem to mainly be in blocks 229/231. These were seats that were available to eligible season ticket holders to buy but didn’t sell as they were the least popular. Seems daft that they’re now labelled as premium tickets 😂. They also have some club view ones at the back of 321 and 324 that were blocked off by the club from before sales started. The ones in blocks 001 and 200 must also have been reserved by the club for whatever reason as those blocks were fully sold out quite early on in the season ticket renewal process. I don’t think they’re seat unique ones so I could only guess that they’re some sort of travel package or reserved by the club for comps and not getting used.

Absolutely. I have a resale ticket for Villa as I kept the membership for the occasional ticket for myself (and for the TV and to keep the option of a season ticket if I ever end up returning to the UK). But, if you want to go with a partner or with a family member or friend, then the cheaper Seat Unique product makes perfect sense. For example, currently Wolves is on sale at 90 pounds (plus 2 admin fee). So take off 14 pounds for the food voucher and programme and you are down to 78 - not bad for a guaranteed adult seat compared to ballot and resale prices. And, as you say, those of us overseas need to know in good time for flights and accommodation.
