Champions? You won a trophy for the runners up to the uefa runners up league to the European runners up (mainly) league! I mean we'll done being the least bad of all those 3rd rate runners up, but don't twist the word into European champions - that's not only laughable its disrespectful to the meaning of words.

Genuinely hope everton never get into that noddy cup - it would be an unnecessary distraction that season, from pushing bin into Sky brand territory, which is the main reason the competition exists.

Sure mate, you don’t sound at all jealous.

The problem with your 3rd cup nonsense is we played all of Roma, Rangers, Galatasaray, Frankfurt, United - all sides who have greater Euro records than the likes Everton, Arsenal, Newcastle. But apparently it’s 3rd rate - no one can explain how, but trust me bro it is

Genuinely absolutely not jealous. Its as pointless as the Simod cup. I've not shown the slightest interest in European competition since it shed its gravitas and went from champions only 2 leg knock-out to a league including, mainly, the runners up that would once have been in the UEFA cup knockout. So its teams below those 2 tiers. 3rd rate.

The fact that a team in dreadful form, flirting with relegation in England won it against another team in dreadful form, flirting with relegation, says everything about the quality of the competition.

It’s either this or the slow merciless death that is international football.

World Cup qualifying where 16 Euro teams will make the finals meaning that England have to fight tooth and nail to finish above Albania, Serbia, Latvia and Andorra
