Future recruitment team & strategy

Starlizard is the parent company, ie the data gatherer, the information consumer, they have something like 100 people sat in an office watching every professional match in every professional league in every country every week gathering information. Jamestown is a sub company that primarily focuses in all aspects of recruitment (staff and players) in football and cricket.
Starlizard's primary focus is on the betting side of his interests, helping set odds, and that's where the data collection started. Jamestown is football.

Apart from the start of the season, around Christmas and late on, said companies say they can predict the outcome of a match 80-85% of the time...

... based purely on the data set. The work goes on here in the UK, fed to Jersey and Guernsey and used to lay bets, with their freer tax rules.

It's really interesting when you speak to people involved in Bloom's empire.

We need to aim to have the best academy in the country...that for me should be the long term target. This is the only way we could perhaps long term get back fighting for titles. I know it will take time, but we need to find a way to attract the best young talents in world football . How to do this, that will be exactly on that new recruitment team to come up with a strategy to achieve this. By year 3, I would expect us to be in the top 5 in the country in relation to our academy as a minimum. Anything else, and they can get new people that will get it done.

Didn't realise until recently that Grimsby are a bit of Jamestown project team, also I'm interested to see how the setup works for Hearts in the SPL they seem to be doing ok atm.

The gouted grumps of GOT can predict up to 57% correct on a good day, so we've not too far to make up the difference.

Barry, Rohl and Azou are the canaries in the mine in terms of strategy.

Realistically an aspect of any future strategy is buying potential young, developing and selling on at a profit of 10s of millions.

Those three represent the first investments made and a real test of our recruitments judgement.
