3 games in and multiple goals from our midfield so far and 1 from our striker.

That is a massive improvement.

You know the recruitment has been bad when you look at the line up and think we could do with Jack Harrison here

I think he played him deliberately for that long to show the board he doesn’t have options on the bench.

I was calling for McNeil to come on so we could go 3 at the back with wingbacks. I also think Jack Harrison makes a big difference to that game last night with a bit more balance to the team (and his link up with Charly)

We need two proper fullbacks more than anything else. One for left back and one for right back. Yes, we will still need a right winger, but we are toast if we expect to go through the season with our current non-existent fullback options.

I'd rather get some quality at full back and end up with a Jack Harrison or Lindstrom on the wing, than sign an overpriced winger that will apparently take 3 years to settle in anyway.

As much as I disliked starting Harrison, he would of walked into our starting 11 vs leeds

I honestly believe that if we don't sign Dibling we won't sign the quality RW we need. I think we'll get a loan of a player of Jack Harrison quality (if it’s not Harrison himself) and a slightly better (but not by much) left winger and play Ndiaye out of position for the season. But not before desperately and publicly going back to Fofana to beg.

I think we've messed around and put all of our eggs (rightly or wrongly) in the Dibling basket, so it's incumbent on 'the committee' to get it done now.

This is going to end up with us bringing back Tom Davies, Anwar El Ghazi, Jack Harrison, and Ben Godfrey, isn't it?

This is just the first salvo the more egregious offenders have not been listed , those who have mentioned Jh from Leeds returning, have an opportunity to confess their sins and be absolved , otherwise it is a possibility that you will face my righteous wrath. I hope all those in the “we’re signing Jack Harrison aren’t we” thread have a good long look at themselves and triple check each post before sending nonsense into the world in perpetuity

I tend to think those that are judging the transfer window need to wait a little bit before doing so. Good or bad.

Being blunt at the moment we have no idea about our form. We were hopeless against Leeds, a bit (very) lucky against Brighton and Wolves were woeful and we still nearly messed up.

We only have two signings who are guaranteed starters for our first choice team.

We have greater attacking depth but Barry, Rohl, Aznou and Dibling will need time to adjust. Some or all may come good but probably not until later in the season at which time we will be better able to judge matters.
