Where will Everton finish?

I just want to enjoy watching Everton playing actual football again.
The evidence of the first few games, ( apart from Leeds), is overwhelmingly positive.
If this iteration of Moyes continues to attempt to play quality attacking football my latent hostility to him will vanish.
Right now , I am starting to look forward to going to the games again , something that in recent years has seemed more of a chore , a necessary interruption to a day out with friends and family.
Play good football and success is more likely to follow.
Would love to have some European travels next season .

I have put 9th to 12th.

I would love us to finish in the European places, but accept its going to be tough. If we could get 58 points (10 more than last season) it would represent progress and should put us somewhere in that area.

I would like us to win at least 10 home games this season as well, I think that would be a good start for life in the new stadium
And win one of the cups

I think just creeping into the top 10 would be great, and recognisable progress. I’ve enjoyed the opening games because of the results, although with the blue-tinted glasses off, we were very lucky against Brighton (Wolves was tight too, although we should have put that game to bed).

The hope is that Branthwaite will help solidify that backline, and that the attack can continue to improve. You’d imagine that teams will begin to focus on Grealish more so his outputs may diminish, but you’d hope that will leave space for the likes of Ndiaye, Beto, Dewsbury-Hall etc. to exploit.

All in, a positive, ship-steadying season ahead blues.

Injuries will dictate where we finish. No significant injuries to our key players and I think we can challenge top 8...a few Injuries, and with what already looks like a close season, we can find ourselves fighting in the lower positions of the table, perhaps not quite relegation, but not much higher either. Myko could be out for some time...a big question mark on aznou too...this could go badly very quickly.
