I think just creeping into the top 10 would be great, and recognisable progress. I’ve enjoyed the opening games because of the results, although with the blue-tinted glasses off, we were very lucky against Brighton (Wolves was tight too, although we should have put that game to bed).
The hope is that Branthwaite will help solidify that backline, and that the attack can continue to improve. You’d imagine that teams will begin to focus on Grealish more so his outputs may diminish, but you’d hope that will leave space for the likes of Ndiaye, Beto, Dewsbury-Hall etc. to exploit.
All in, a positive, ship-steadying season ahead blues.
