Last Film You Watched

Horror is my favourite genre, from when I was a kid watching Hammer house of horror and buying fangoria magazines, I do watch other types, but blood and gore top the list
A man after my own heart. ;)

Yep. And coincidentally they were both in Batman. In fact, Jack imitated Palance’s character after Joker fried him. I think the henchman’s name was Bob who he grabbed and did the imitation. Both actors stepped out in that role. Palance was a gritty cowboy and Jack did a lot of drama. This was a comic book movie and they stand out to me decades later.
No lads! C’mon now… Jack Palance’s best character was in the ‘City Slickers’ films… 😜

Paired with Billy Crystal, Daniel Stern and Jon Lovitz. You can’t beat that!
😂😂😂

I like Jack Palance. A tough guy’s guy. But always felt his roles were similar. I throw John Wayne into that same category. Jack Nicholson on the other hand rarely repeated a type or style of character.
Nicholson did end up doing some repetition. Palance did play very similar bad guys for a career. If you're good you're good.

And john wayne can burn in hell.

Lee Marvin? He was one tough SOB, both on film, and in real life as well.

I was mesmerised by Nicholson’s Torrance, and the Direction was incredible. I don’t care if it wasn’t faithful to the book, it was a brilliant film. And for the record, I think Kubrick’s Jack came across as a tragic character even if he was a bit of an a-hole, he was a complex character.
Yeah not for me but I respect your opinion
