During the furore i wanted to ask if your favourite comic growing up was the Topper, and within the topper, was your favourite comic strip ‘Danny’s Tranny’?

I tried to get a picture of said comic strip - Danny’s tranny - the boy with the magical transistor radio - for extra pizzazz, but let’s just say putting it in a google search has mentally scarred me and I quickly lost the impetus to persevere.

We're paying Grealish £230k a week, I'm pretty certain there won't be a reduction in our wage bill but, hopefully, the increase in revenues will more than counteract that.

How they deal with that Grealish issue probably dictates it. But yes, it's for wages and with that 12m they are probably narrowly higher or equivalent.

Revenues should be up for 25-26. I'm not sure there will be much of a difference in wages given who has left this summer, and what was brought in (as well as new contracts for Branthwaite and Pickford?). We don't have a reference point since last year's numbers won't be available for quite a while.

Are city not paying his wages ,hence the 12 m loan fee

I believe they pushed it back a year, but the current/prior formula is heavily dependent on revenues as well (since it's a profitability measure).
