You said when available he played under Lampard.
You said when available out of the 12 times he played 10 of them.
You're wrong.
Of the Games Patterson was actually fit/available for ≈ 12 - he played in 10 of them.
I also said this.
So why are you leaving the ‘fit’ part out?
Approximately 73% of Lampard’s games as Everton manager Patterson wasn’t properly fit or available (32/44)
Of the Games Patterson was actually fit/available for ≈ 12 - he played in 10 of them.
When he was fit, Lampard picked him.
So yeah let’s look at what you’ve said and why it’s total horse excrement.
I said:
You want to try again?
Well if it’s false then google and chat gpt are wrong. And how does that anecdotal evidence disprove anything??
Why don’t you come back with real stats, I have more details - but if you think it’s false then drill into it and let’s see details
Like any player he needs a prolonged run of games to settle within any team set up(whoever is in charge!) , he has never been able to do this due to sustaining long term injuries whenever he managed to be considered for a first team start.
Whether or not he is good enough is definitely up for debate but as for his representatives giving him poor direction or wasting his or Everton's time by staying put, I think if he's ever going to develop into the player that his early potential promised then he has the perfect manager in Moyes to coach, encourage and advise him to become the injury free, confident, contributing regular right back that the club's investment deserves.
You don’t think managers put players on the bench when not fit?You said you used Chatgpt
The real stats are he sat on the bench when Lampard arrived. He played the first half against Boreham Wood and that was it.
Please, lets see the more details you have.
You don’t think managers put players on the bench when not fit?
You misquote me then get uppity when you’re called out being selective/inaccurate.
I also said i used google. You know, a regular search engine? How do you get your info outside of incorrect selective memory?
You love partially or fully misquoting don’t you?
You clearly got it wrong, just accept it.
I clearly and originally was calling Dave out for his bs, pointing out that for the vast majority of lampards reign, Patterson wasn’t fit or available, and that his narrative, a lovely story that it was, was exactly that.
I then pointed out that he wasn’t fit or available for 70 odd % of lampards games.
But let’s include your contentious games where he was on the bench but not deemed fit because coming back from injury. He was out for +60% of games, benched for 6 (I’ll take your word) and played the remaining 12.
Does that sound like a player of whom Dave’s tale is accurate? Which, you know, is the whole effing point of this.
apology accepted (see how misquoting works both ways pal?I'm sorry.
Not worth pointing out. We know, whatever it isOf course players moving from other leagues are always deemed fit and should play immediately when they are on the bench and don’t need any time getting used to the intensity and new surroundings.
Let’s include thoee
Davek’s comment is still clearly wrong… which was the whole point.
apology accepted (see how misquoting works both ways pal?)
I think Scottish and football are not really linked these days.I dislike him at a footballer. I remember his debut and he was almost by the halfway line and I remember thinking if they break here he is so far out of position. Unfortunately I don’t feel like he’s improve in that aspect. There’s been a few games where we have conceded because a player was behind him at the back.
I remember him jumping up in the air against Arsenal I think. He headed it upwards, fell on his bum and they scored. I just don’t feel like he’s a good right back at all. However. I would love him to prove me wrong because I really want it to work out for him. I would love Myko, Jarad, Tarky and Patto, but i just don’t think he’s the answer. Moyes with the Scottish connection might be the one to actually get him going.
