ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

They will always find away to think we are. A mate said to me last night that our place looks like a Premier Inn, unbelievable really when you look at their place. The scruffy little bellend

They’ve got one of the ugliest stadium exteriors in the league. It’s comical. A massive brick staircase that looks like it belongs at a school or a prison and a load of cheap red plastic patched all over it. It looks like a plastic hole punch at the back and HMP Anfield at the front.

Just waiting for the "Isak jersey sales will cover the transfer cost" shouts and they will have finally completed their transformation into 1990's-2000s Manchester United fans which was the thing they hated most.
Actually that is spot on. That is what they are.

Looking forward another 20 years to seeing the Hold Punch Stadium roof leaking on to them whilst they sack all their dinner ladies to get in a pants goalkeeper who still outlasts the last 3 managers. Will be beautiful.

I think Guehi comes out of this with huge credit , playing the day before the window closes and showing proper respect for the club that made him.
His situation is a bit different though....credit for continuing to play, yes....but that should be expected more then admired....plus, the big difference, he's into the last year of his contract....he clearly wanted to leave this summer and get a transfer fee for Palace....now he just has to either wait until January (in which case he can get a higher wage, as Liverpool will save 20/25m on the fee, and still compete for the Premier league and Champions league this season.....or wait 1 year and get an even higher wage as a free agent
