Doesn;t go.Grealish Ndiaye Dibling
Garner KDH
I want to see it happen.
And I want Garner to roll those socks down
Grealish and Ndiaye proved against Wolves they play better on opposite flanks.

We looked a far better team with three at the back in the 2nd half v Brighton. Cram the talent in Moist.Be funny if Moyes was like “right, you lot can’t sign full-backs so I’m just not using them”, stuck JOB Tarkowski and Branthwaite in defence and just played all our magic up top at once.
Depends if KDH would ever be moved back into the midfield two then all three could play but appreciate this is unlikely in the short term if ever. KDH being dropped if he doesn’t perform is also not out the question.
You’d like to think for the investment made in him that Dibling’s ceiling will be higher than Ndiaye’s. As good as Ndiaye is Dibling has the pace and power to really power past players. I think he’ll be a star for us, and if he is he will go on to attract serious interest from the top clubs in the world. I’m just not sure whether Ndiaye can reach that level. I think he might actually be playing his best football for us right now.
Ndiaye is a very good player and it’s just nice to finally have options where we can play whichever ones are in form and we’re not all thinking our entire team is done if one attacking player gets injured.
It’s just bizarre seeing Grealish KDH Ndiaye being subbed off and watching Dibling Alcaraz McNeil come on. Genuine depth for the first time in a long time at Everton.
I think we will see 3 at the back occasionally this season if Moyes thinks a tactical match-up calls for it. JOB and Branthwaite are both really suited to being the outside CBs in a three imo.Be funny if Moyes was like “right, you lot can’t sign full-backs so I’m just not using them”, stuck JOB Tarkowski and Branthwaite in defence and just played all our magic up top at once.
I counted 23 players with shirt numbers (on my fingers) and four of them goalies.20 outfield players. That feels tight given we lose two to AFCON.
Loved it when Grealish and N'Diaye switched flanks in the Wolves game ... oh such talent at our disposal....Doesn;t go.

Our second 11 looks just about as good as we ended last season as our starting 11....Best XI (XXII)
Pickford(Travers)
O'Brien(Coleman) - Tarkowski(O'Brien) - Branthwaite (Keane) - Mykolenko (Aznou)
Garner (Iroegbunam - Gana (Rohl)
N'Diaye (Dibling) - KDH (Alcaraz) - Grealish (McNeil)
Barry (Beto)
Obrien and Keane set up either side of Tarks in a three, Garner pushed up more when we had the ball, and the midfield press became more consistent. Look where he was for his goal. We definitely had more balance for me.I don’t remember us doing that.. Garner was still left back with Jack ahead of him.
For them to have proved that they are better playing on opposite flanks than they are with one in the ten, there would have to be evidence of what they are like with one in the ten first (which there is isn't). Even then a sample size of one is probably not enough. So nothing has been proved.Doesn;t go.
