New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Irrelevant - loads of established clubs and bars in the city centre were impacted by residential developments after they were built due to noise issues. Once homes are built they have the same rights as anyone else.
This is true. There's no defence of "coming to the nuisance" in English law; a statutory nuisance is a statutory nuisance regardless of how long someone's been living there.

At the 2 games, have people been faffing around scanning the QR code in the “rewards portal” every time they buy a beer so they can get enough points for car sticker?? That doesn’t sound like a good idea.
Ideally, you’d hope they could scan their physical ST card beforehand, a bit like a Clubcard, so the points would then rightly be associated with you.

Oh, we’re not allowed physical cards anymore are we…

You'll end up with this.

Yes, this estate is the antithesis of good town-planning. Of course it comes from a different era, one of desperation.... but only proves the point that cheap, low density, low quality residential adds little to nothing and often only detracts from the potential of that area by stiffling development. What should be an absolute hotbed of major investment, with thousands of residents is the equvalent of a few featureless brookside closes grouped together. The last thing central docks needs is anything like this and tbf I haven't seen that on any renders.

Not sure if posted, but...

Very interesting podcast.

So, circa £6M+ p.a. from the ambulance chasers.

The stuff about the foundation partner deal structures is most interesting in that it underlines just how much involvement they have in the stadium for the foreseeable. They practiclly govern what happens at BMD given the physical space they control.

Probably sounded very clever until they realised how much chaos is in the concourses. Bonus points for “getting there early” is cunning to get you locked in without any other source of sustenance than what they offer. Fair enough. But to have people scanning again every time they buy anything is bonkers.

Should have a “take a roll-less dump in the stadium loos 30mins after the final whistle challenge - 100000 points.”

£6.6m rising to £7.5m was it Dave ? Plus £2.1 m off Budweiser, so how much for Pepsi ?

Just had a walk down the stadium to go in the club shop. Ceiling is leaking all over the place and no size large anywhere to be seen. Plenty of 4XL’s though. Must be the doughnuts.
It was really hot in there a few weeks back as the air conditioners were broke. Maybe all the bedwetters from the transfer thread took their sheets down to dry them off and the contents are now dripping through the ceiling.
