Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

It’s been a better window than I’d hoped for but the absence of a right back signing is strange. Although, O’Brien has done well there overall and I would rather have him on the field than on the bench.
I agree ,did you get to Waterstones to buy that book yet ? I watched Father Johannes again .Fogle has done a series " Scotland's sacred isles " which we are catching up on where he investigates the effect of Christianity on island life . It is on BBC iplayer .

I’m working in Belfast today and plan to head to Waterstones later this afternoon. It’s a big store so should have it.

Good morning all. I agree with those of you who have said we have had a good window. Totally overlooked by Sky when talking about best transfer windows. Grealish on loan has to be up there with one of the best moves. @Armaghtoffee I think Isak will try to move elsewhere. He reminds me of Lukaku, I want to go to Man Utd/Inter/wherever. The grass is not always greener. You also have to question the rs behaviour in this - they must have tapped him up as they did with VVD who used exactly the same tactics to force his transfer to them.

Morning all, bright and sunny here but there is a feel of Autumn in the air. Schools are back tomorrow so the last day of the holidays for grandkids 2,3 & 4. Harry had his first day in college yesterday and it seems to have gone well. His GCSE results were better than expected so he was able to get onto his preferred course which was a boost to his self-confidence and I’m hoping that college will bring him out of his shell a bit. A tea shop has opened in a back room of a local pub, everything is home-made - even the crisps, so we are taking Jess there this morning for a coffee and cake. She is feeling a bit left out as her sister went for a sleepover at her friend’s yesterday and younger sisters were most definitely NOT invited! Opticians this afternoon, I’m hoping I won’t need new glasses, as I’m just getting over the shock of how much my current ones cost.😂
Have a good day, all.💙

Good luck to Harry at college x

We’ve recorded the Ben Fogle series, only watched the one about Orkney so far. Much of it I knew, they covered St Magnus well but they could have done more about St Magnus Cathedral which is truly magnificent despite its small size. A new bit for me was that they now have a “ St Magnus Way”, 55 mile walk around the island , one for me to think about on a dark December night but not pursue.

It won’t look so clever when he comes into contact with ‘leg breaker’ Pickford………

In between Granny watch , meeting the carers and cooking Granny's meals I watched quite a bit of TDD on SSN . The disgusting RS love in just turns my stomach and I pissed myself when Palace pulled the plug on Geuhi.

I'm pretty sure they will win the PL in a canter unless a terrible injury should befall Saint Virgil again. I was never religious but needs must I suppose.

Managed to squeeze in some table tennis practice today as the season starts next week. My word I'm so rusty that I might need a couple of cans of WD 40 😂.

Yep it’s scary how strong rs squad is as much as I hate admitting, but that wirtz is the worst of the lot looks like he’s not suited for the prem (let’s hope so )

The big thing is do they have any real challenges from the other 4-5 supposedly top teams, not the way it’s started but as we know a long way to go yet,
I’m just happy that we have made some great signings, and look a decent team for a change

Morning all. I obviously can’t miss the RS and their signings but I actively go out of my way to try to avoid them , I have zero interest in watching them , know most of their names but couldn’t name their team. It makes for a better life if I’ve found .

Morning all on this cloudy one here .I hope all are well and had a good night .I went to the hospital today for the results of my chest bloods and peff test to find it was a phone call appointment ! Anyway I told the doctor we were outside and that I had had rib pain since I started my new inhaler so she sent me for an X-ray ,in and out in ten minutes ,half an hour later the doctor phoned again to say nothing has changed but my hemaglobin is a bit low and that it just might be temporary so they will check in a couple of months when I have my cholesterol test .So still up but not running ! She also recommended yoga or pilates for my asthma ,that will be fun .
Have a great day all COYB
