ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c0r7rg4z55yo

Another kopite journalist at the BBC by the looks of it. Attempting to justify the spend. All the usual excuses in there. Increase in revenues, net spend, not spent a penny for 3 years.

Finishes with a reminder for us all that it's not all about the money.

"And it can't be overlooked that for all the talk of record spending, the Reds are defending their title this season against the backdrop of immense grief and sadness."
Self pity FC have absolutely no morals.
Imagine you were Jotas mum, or wife and you read that.
Trying to gain some kind of pity to justify their spending, why would you even think of it. The BBC need closing down.

BBC had something in one of their many Isak stories yesterday saying spend was £450m and sales were £190m. Approx. £260m net.
You’re forgetting the Coutinho money, mate. Less that, and less the special dispensation ‘gobsh.te’ credits that they’re allowed to claim from the PL, puts them into a massive negative net spend!

Coming up smelling like roses again, right?! 😂

F ‘em:
Have a great day everyone and be thankful that you aren’t one of these weirdos.
As much as Gary Neville can be a tit sometimes, here’s one story that makes me laugh every time:

Have a fantastic day, bloo’s! ;)

Their spending can be justified by whatever means a journalist feels appropriate. Fans can see through the obvious bias.

But that last bit? Completely irrelevant and bringing the deceased into the equation is utterly disrespectful.
