2025/26 Harrison Armstrong

DM has been sacked a few times - failed loads of times - stop bigging him up - we have had far better Managers than him who actually won trophies - The new owners wanted him for one season & he wanted a longer spell - I hope he does well , but don't give me crap like he knows better ....
If we slump & i hope we don't, they will get rid as they are ruthless - look at their other club Roma .....

I can not understand signing a loan midfielder a German international youth player - a few years older than Harrison Armstrong was the correct move when we needed a right back makes any sense & he had to loan him to his club where he started ????
I agree with some 6 months was enough of a loan deal - Afcon & injuries may yet play their part !
Rohl is only a loan midfielder to make the numbers work, he'll be a permanent signing next summer.

I like the loan move for him. I thought he got pushed around on the American trip, he has obvious talent, he's just not quite ready yet. I think the loan is the best thing for him, and I think it's a good sign that the club is in a position to loan him out.

Two assist last time out - I can think of other players we could have loaned out who are on big money too....

You can already see the lad has got it, and not just that he's a mentally strong lad, the Premier league won't phase him...

Certain lads, they need to get out to grow as a person as much as gametime, this lad has already grown, he knows his own ability, 20mins here and there plus cup games and the chance to learn from the players we've got at the mo is a hell of a lot more beneficial then 90mins in the championship..

Bad decision in my eyes, but I'm not the manager..

I really think he could have been cover so we could get a decent right back - thank goodness we missed out on Souceck - Phew
I don't think we were getting a RB after Tete was gone, regardless of Rohl/Armstrong. The manager didn't prioritize it and frankly the names that were put across were not sure starters.

Any top Manager is not perfect - we have been screaming for a right back when Coleman got badly injured before DM arrived - DM has a habit of wasting seasons of players on loan - Coleman, and Osman, springs to mind - plus Ross Barkley should have broke on the scene much earlier twice he was sent out on loan ....
The other lot have a 16 year old star winger not much chance of game time - he has stayed put ...

We under most Managers just have a habit of sending youth players out - Harrison Armstrong even DM states he's special & lumps him out ?

Blimey - the Osman and Barkley ones I just don't agree with in any single way there at all.

I remember the couple of games Barkley had when DM was here and he was naive and raw. Osman's loans were the making of him (and he has said as much).

You can't compare someone having a 16 year old who's getting game time in the PL - development isn't linear. It's different for everyone.

Great opportunity for him to toughen up and build his confidence with lots of game time.
Really hope it goes well and we get back a more experienced player.
The spotlight of BMD for 20min cameos is not what he needs.

Plus this lad played about 15 games as he is injury prone - lets see if he stars - I hope so ....
He definitely knows better than every single person on this forum. We’ve probably only had about 6 managers that have ever won things so Moyes is our 7th best in 130 odd years. Of the ones above only Royle is still alive and no one knows what is opinion of sending Harrison on loan is so it seems like a moot point to me.
