Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Don't ask/don't get - Anyone got Photoshop open an able to do us a collage of all the players we've signed so I can do a lazy grade Everton's transfer window social media post?

And no replacement for gueye...despite the Afcon. Surely the time has come for him to retire from international football.
Rohl is the Gana replacement

Freiburg deploy him further forward, but he has the same physical attributes in terms of pressing etc., with the added bonus of being physically more imposing so a better option against teams who want to play long and win second balls.

He's only 23 and he won't play AM for the rest of his life. Some people forget that, especially for midfielders, a player can have their position tweaked across their career depending on what attributes they have and what system they are deployed in. Look at Rice, or Gravenberch, or numerous others who have moved further forward or further back.

As long as we win all our games, I don’t think anyone can complain about our business dealings in this transfer window.

Atleast we haven’t signed players who go on strike, and haven’t clearly and blatantly spent far more than we generate in revenue.

Yep. I have completely dry sheets and don't think about for a second. Fullback is not important position. We have massively improved the quality and quantity throughout the rest of our team. RB was never a priority (hence why we tried to fill it with an injury prone free). Our defense was completely fine. We are not going to fix all of our problems in one window. I would sooner keep our powder dry and fix the rest of our squad shortages with long term solutions in the coming windows.
Oh bore off with the bolded.

Fullback is one of the most important positions on the football pitch in modern football. Going into the season fully with only JOB who can be relied on because Coleman and Patterson have had major injury issues is really poor.

Rohl seems to be the future Gana charging around like a madman.

So were replacing him a year early to give time for the transition.

Not sure why you think he's a "necessary purchase" though?

You? Havent seen anything until this very post :o

Of the signings who starts?

Grealish for me is the obvious one. Alcaraz was on loan already and thats it for me + hes not even starting.
Absolute yawn fest
