Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Personally think a specialist RB would have been preferable, and I say that even though think JOB has been pretty good at the position as has Garner when he’s filled in.

Numerically we now seem lighter in defense than attack, especially given recent injury history, and Moyes has historically been a “keep it tight at the back first and then build up the attack side” kinda manager so stylistically it would seem to have fit his playing style better.
I'd sooner buy players that help us score and make us entertaining to watch. We're not going to go down and buying attacking potential now we will stand us in much better stead in the long term.

EBM was always worth a listen. Did they fall out?

Who does Blaine spar with on his Business With Blaine show? If it's Ped or Baz it must be excruciating.

I only watched it once tbh. It was baz asking john questions that peiole had sent in and him taking forever to actually answer them.

It was a rough listen like

Love the smell of his own farts

And has no transfer info
I prefer the ‘divorce makers’, the ones when your watching a film with the missus and they make no noise, but just silently flame grill the wife’s bonce, causing a furious reaction, not helped by my laughter.

RB, CDM and striker then it’s been a very good window.

There's an hour left, we aren't getting 3 transfers done in that time. It's still been a solid window though. I do think right back is the only real glaring omission from our business. A long term successor and someone to push gueye and an experienced striker in case barry isn't ready would have been icing on the cake.

Gawd, that sounds grim.

"John, as you're an Evertonian Vanderbildt, can you answer these simple-minded questions from the humble working-class blue-clad unwashed, please?"

"It's all in the communication, Baz. Yeah? Yeah?"
