Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

I don't mind him too much to be fair. Find him more interesting than Ped at least

Tbh i dont mind ped as long as hes got baz there to keep him in check and talking about football.

Its when hes on his own and starts talking about his pseudo politics and starts banning people off the channel who dont agree with him or ask him to stop talking about politics on a football channel. That makes me think hes a bit of a whopper

You can tell he was high up in corporate. Everything he says is designed to either confuse you or bore you into not paying attention anymore.

I miss the skinny guy with glasses who used to be on there. He'd constantly use 4 syllable words in the wrong context. He was fun to listen too.
I don't mind him when he talks about basic business-related subjects, but his positioning as some kind of Warren Buffet figure for the plebeian likes of Ped always struck me as talking down to the fans.

Ped and Baz are just terrible foil for him. "Hey, ho."

Blaine was more listenable in the company of Esk and Rodger Armstrong and their Everton Business Matters podcast during the Moshiri reign. I suspect they all ended up hating each other.

Tyrique George’ move to Roma collapsed. Wouldn’t pay the fee apparently. If you’re a Roma supporter, and watching your owners other club plough in 140 million by completing another signing on deadline day, you’d be mightily pi$$ed off. People could say different leagues and different revenue streams and TV money means we can spend more etc etc, but supporters won’t see it like that. They’ll just see TFG signing off cheques here while keeping things fairly tight at Roma.

If the roles were reversed here, we’d all be livid and have major concerns with the owners let’s be honest.
They signed Wesley from under our noses though
