Signing Rohl frees up Garner to cover RB and he's good enough to fill in there. I like JOB as a right back fwiw, and I think Moyes is happy with him there too. It definitely gives us something different to other teams tactically.

While more orthodox full backs might overlap and such, we have an out ball that Pickford can hit and nine times out of ten O'Brien will win a flick on to Ndiaye/Dibling. I'd much rather they had the ball anyway.

So it's understandable why they've not pushed ahead with any old right back – other than Tete, there clearly hasn't been anyone else Moyes has liked. Fair enough I reckon.

For the record - a 'specialist right back' before this window closed would've been a 'nice to have' of course, but not a 'must' have..

Our third best CB is having to play the full 90 at RB, meaning our last CB is now starting.

The other options at RB are Coleman who hasn't managed more than a few weeks fit for years now, a joke Scottish lad who we've been offering out to everyone this window and Garner who if Myko breaks down is a out starting left back, meaning we have to bring in Tim into cm leaving us due to only this new German lad as our only CM remaining.

Or back up CB is our starting RB, our starting CM is our backup left and right back. And our first choice CBs have had three hamstring injuries between them in the last 4 months.

Not a priority though

Yes, would be my answer.

Depends if we've got another £40m for a RB but couldn't convince anyone to come here. There should be room for both.

In his first game we also didn’t really have grealish etc.

I think we’ll be fine in an injury crisis situation.

I hope so its just frustrating seeing we seem to be so close to having a skilled first 11 minus 1 or 2 players and as any people have said one looked like the first thing we tried to address then nothing and i know we may have gone for others but the likes of Grealish to get that bit of space he needs has to have a player behind him that can aid in getting that space but we will see
