Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Hmmm if that’s it, I’m in the moaning camp.

Think it’s a bit underwhelming to be honest.

I expected another striker and Moyes said he wanted a defender.
I wanted the same, I thought getting rid of Chermiti would mean a striker coming in on loan, and the right back area still hasn’t been addressed.

Moyes must be thinking of Ndiaye as a striking option, and is happy with JOB and Garner for right back.

But usually on the last day we bring no one in so hopefully Rohl is as good as we all hope he will be.

People keep saying this, and the same kind of goes for JOB too. But it’s not about just having a player who can play there, it’s about having someone there who can excel at all aspects of that position. Nobody we have can do a decent job all both defence and attacking parts of that role, except Coleman who gets injured constantly and should of retired years ago
I agree completely. That’s why I’d like to sign a RB who can excel at all aspects of the job and not just any RB.

Chelsea loaning a player from Brighton, how many players do they bloody need, makes a complete mockery of psr. It's anger inducing watching the same few clubs spending ridiculous amounts every window, while the rest struggle to stay within rules
Chelsea were very honest when they sold their hotel to themselves to stay within PSR. Law-abiding citizens the lot.

The long balls to Ndiaye will be a joy to watch

Garner has been ok at RB. Is it that huge a problem?
Right back we can cope with. O’Brien can play there, Garner can play there and if we are despatate Coleman or Patterson can play there. Unless I’ve forgotten someone I think we only have three senior centre backs which is a worry given one of them is injury prone, one will have at least two suspensions this season and the last one is less than reliable.
