People keep saying this, and the same kind of goes for JOB too. But it’s not about just having a player who can play there, it’s about having someone there who can excel at all aspects of that position. Nobody we have can do a decent job all both defence and attacking parts of that role, except Coleman who gets injured constantly and should of retired years ago

At the very least Garner will suffice at RB if we can move Jakey central and Branners can get healthy and stay healthy. Will leave us a little bare in depth though.

It is if we take him out of the centre of mid field for a pro longed time square pegs in round holes will catch you up eventually

Is a problem becuase moving a player would argue is the starting mid to brcome a rb, when shouldnt really be the case. Also has been said several times by moyes this window.

Tedious isn't it - I can see Sky maybe to please their subscribers - but don't the BBC have an obligation to moderate it a bit.

This is if 2 of our 4 centre halves are injured for a prolonged period btw.

And if, at the same time, one of our 2 RBs are also injured.

Garner is probably a better fit for RB than Jake at least. We could do far worse than fielding as many decent players on the field as possible. Needs to be addressed ASAP in Jan or next summer. Hell we should be looking for a loan or two still.
