last year they had salah, gakpo, diaz, nunez and jota

this year they have salah, isak, gakpo, ekitike and wirtz

they also have that young prospect rio who they will bring through as well

especially with the amount of players that needed to be replaced you would have thought the loan market would have been perfect for us

Yeah I was pretty convinced we’d end up with 3-4 loans to really bulk out the squad and cover every position. I guess if the right players (according to the club) couldn’t be got, we’d rather keep our powder dry.

Frustrating, but people pretending it’s a bad window because we didn’t get a RB need to give their skull a proper wobble.

Garner has been ok at RB. Is it that huge a problem?

FWIW we have had a good window and spent money. It's impossible to fix every hole in one go. BUT it is criminal as somebody said that we have put off right back for 6 odd years. It is criminal that Coleman and Young were actual starters/stopgaps and we thought that was acceptable.

He hasn't played at RB this season so I dont know

It also takes him away from his best position. So we'd then be relying on Rohl in midfield. And I've honestly never seen him play so I can't honestly answer if it would be a problem.

There've been regular briefings throughout the summer that it's a position where Everton have been looking to strengthen. It seems highly likely that we'll be returning to this next summer, or possibly in January.

I still reckon we get the Norwich right back today. Dunno why. Just got a tingling in my nuts
