Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

So we have garner as emergency rb, ndiaye as emergency striker...this is no good. There should be at the very least 3 strikers in any pl club...and having a cb at rb until at least January that's also very poor from a recruitment perspective.
Neither are 'emergencies' by the way as both have literally played in those positions quite a bit in their careers to date?

It seems Moyes opinion is that OBrien is ok at RB.

I remember him doing the same with Jags and Lescott - in fact Lescott was decent at LB.

I dont want them in those positions, thats my point...they should be playing in their best positions...I dont want to see another performance like leeds where there is no balance in the team...

Maybe they are calling it as they see it just as you are.

It’s been an obvious issue for a long time, people will get frustrated about it mate.
Get 'frustrated' all you want. It's just simply being misplaced in this case for the reasons I've outlined 🤷‍♂️

For the record - a 'specialist right back' before this window closed would've been a 'nice to have' of course, but not a 'must' have..
