We paid 25m for 50p head and that was about 8 years ago. Palace probably could have stung them for 45m if they had played hardball

I get that but I fancied Palace to get Europe again either domestically or through winning the conference league. Not sure that's achievable now losing 2 best players for me - Eze and Guehi.

Reds clearly have huge amounts of money this year. I think they could have been pushed to 40 or 45m
