Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

So Job had a poor game Saturday so hope its a 1 off, Tarks is well off form at present, Keane is an accident waiting to happen before he then goes on one of those runs were it all goes wrong for him , Braithwaite is injured for how long ? Our left back doesnt offer anything going forward and the new one looks well off from being a starter , Leeds went through us so did Brighton many times and at one stage Wolves pinned us back and could have snatched a draw both goals conceded were really poor defensively
So away from home, with the lead, I’d expect them to pin us back and come at us. They put on extra attackers and push higher up to try and score. That’s usual in football.

Myko offers nothing going forward? I’m glad that’s not true or Beto doesn’t score on Sat.

I imagine, the fact that we haven’t signed another CB indicates branthwaite* will be due back soon.

Tarks had bad spells last season, Keane had a run of games last season. And we got through it and again still had the 4th best defence.

It’s a failing to not bring in a RB, we clearly need one. It is ok to be a bit critical you know.
I'd love to see a rb in but not if its a filler, not if its not a step, not if its another Patterson. I'd rather wait for more money in coming 2 windows. And if and when a rb and lb of real quality come in it'll transform this team, just as this window has been doing.

Personally the strikers I am not all that worried about at least to January. Beto and Barry are fit and with both arguable for their spot in the first 11. In a pinch Ndiaye can cover with now Dibling and Jack on the wings, and KDH being able to be in the 10. Not to mention possibly Rohl if he's indeed added, who from the looks of it occupies between the 10 and CM and even at times at ST.

RB I just think is a massive oversight. We have been clamoring for good cover for what's now multiple windows at the spot. Have had to patchwork so many times. I feel like people are remembering a Patterson I feel like I never saw. One can say Garner and O'Brien can cover, but that creates depth issues in their respective preferred positions too. And if it's very possible that your best option is a player playing out of position I think that's a major worry.

I just really think they should have got at least an Aznou like youngster at best to finish the last 20 in matches. Or a loan or free with some experience.
