Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

This is me asking a genuine question and not being funny, why is he class?

Friend of mine is saying, he is good as he watches a lot of german footy, only 4 under 21 caps, injured a lot, doesn't score or get many assits and he plays in more of the attacking role. He doesn't have a comp vid... the only player in the world I have searched for who doesn't come up lol

That last bit has convinced me he is good tbh

All hypothetical of course but it feels to me that since we couldn't land Tete, Moyes has become very persnickety about landing the price right back and in the meantime is content with Jake and seamus which is not ideal. Hopefully something happens today to disprove my theory. At this point I'd take ainsley maitland-niles
He'd probably trust Garner there too - and we do still have Patterson.

Thing is, with Jake and Jimmy, using them leaves us weak in other areas of course.

I'm assuming since they haven't able to land the player they really wanted (probably not Tete—he was probably 2nd choice), and so don't want to waste money and a long contract on a player way down their list.

O'Brien is probably far better than the 5th or 6th choice right backs, so all good for me. Seamus or Garner can fill in if needed.

Calculated risk until the right player becomes available.

Maybe we can’t get the defensive midfielder the club wants this summer , I’d rather buy Röhl, than soucek or brownhill

I could be way off on this but I'm not sure why we're in for Rohl.

We have a number of players in his position and he's injury prone.

The expected fee isnt pocket change.

Just an odd one

I’ve not been able to find any potential fees - what number has been floating around?
