ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Anyone done the sums yet ... is this something like half a billion spent in one window for them? Buying trophies fc.

It’s absolutely ridiculous, but to fair they have sold nearly 200m worth of players, and they didn’t spend last season and then won the league. Can’t bare their fans tho, as their okay slating Chelsea and City for the same s***.

Netspend fc doing things the right way Always, yet somehow exactly the same as city, Chelsea, yanited and Arsenal do things - weird that.

Their wage bill must make very interesting reading now, if it is ever published accurately.
Surely they’ve now eclipsed United and Chelsea as top spenders this window?

Agreed.

Karma is a b*tch though and they’ll be crying in their cornflakes when Barca show interest next year and he downs tools again.
Been saying that for years… If karma really did exist, then the RS would be languishing somewhere in one of the lower divisions, or better yet, gone into administration ages ago.

They made some good signings and got decent money in too for sales 🥲 we can only hope Ekitike and Isaac don’t gel and they somehow don’t get Guehi in. Worst of all it seems Arsenal and City won’t be challenging again. I had further hopes for Arsenal to be stronger this season , they should have gone for Isaac themselves not Goykeres. Going off on tangents now but also thought City would be better with Rodri back and a bit of fresh blood but doesn’t seem the case , their remorseless winning machine days seem to be over.

Once the RS have touched you…

The Seattle Sounders' victory in the Leagues Cup final on Sunday night was marred by a melee at the final whistle, with tempers flaring and the apparent instigator, Inter Miami striker Luis Suarez, appearing to spit on a Sounders coaching staff member.

Asked after the match about his players' behavior, Inter Miami coach Javier Mascherano said: "I have nothing to say because I was far away and didn't see what happened. Nobody likes for there to be these types of actions. Maybe there was provocation, but I don't know what happened."

Imagine the headlines if they were former Everton players.

no mate their wage bill will be lower than ours, after all every single one of their signings supported them throughout their childhood and their dad's did too, they are the ultimate Socialist club and therefore all them players are extremely grateful to receive the minimum wage plus bonuses. Jamie Carragher also told me that Liverpool fc help keep them lucky clubs afloat by buying all their best players off them for British records year on year and they should all be grateful, reminds me I must cancel sky sports sometime....
