Can play in just about every midfield position, including defensive midfield. The push for Soucek in recent days seems genuine, Joe Thomas of the echo has been hinting at it, and the exwhamemployee fella has been adamant Moyes has pushed for him this week. Rohl could well be an alternative. Looks a very similar profile.

Wonder what financials they’re looking at? Transfermarkt has him valued at 12m euros, so probably bids between £15-20m get it over the line?

Feel like a dm is as important as rb imo just so we can make the sub for it and to cover injuries. Just feel like rb it helps us with balance

A bit of frenzied Googling has led me to the Bundesleague stats page, and they’ve clocked him at 34.18 kph in his games so far this season, so he’d be comfortably faster than the rest of our centre mids.

So that’s a thing.
