Just saw this on Everton news i taught it was a good shout, Harrison on loan to a championship side until January and fill in for the AFCON players when he comes back.

Yeah issue with that is the AFCON starts in December this year

There's an old school transfer window feel about this with us not being closely linked with anyone.
You feel there has to be someone we're looking at in a last minute swoop/loan, we'd be mad not to.

Gives me those old transfer deadline day feels, before all the suspense was sucked out of it by that narrow eyed toad, Fabrizio Romano breaking stories weeks in advance.

Or we have clamped down completely on transfer news breaking and messing up our plans. I think we will sign a player or two tomorrow.

Agree with you. We seem to be a lot more professional and keeping our cards close to our chests. Hopefully it all pans out tomorrow mate

Is t it more a case of IF you have several players covering one position and nobody for another, and selling one of those covering players end me you to then have cover in both then that's a better more sensible approach?

I kind of think both are true. McNeil is a versatile squad player which is useful, but at the same time every player has a price, even at this late stage of a window.

I think we'll have a couple of signings tomorrow, but I usually create unrealistic expectations which lead to disappointment, who knows maybe it will be different this time?

He surely stays as we haven’t replaced Mangala so keep Armstrong this time or we’re down in numbers.

If Chermitti goes, we’re down one up front (last season we brought in Broja when Chermitti was injured).

It would be strange to have only 2 forward's (Beto and Barry). If one of them is out then we would have nobody on the bench to come on.
