There's an old school transfer window feel about this with us not being closely linked with anyone.
You feel there has to be someone we're looking at in a last minute swoop/loan, we'd be mad not to.

That's not how a squad works. What you are saying is the footballing equivalent of robbing Peter to pay Paul.
You can't justify leaving yourself short in one position to fill another you are already short in.

Is t it more a case of IF you have several players covering one position and nobody for another, and selling one of those covering players end me you to then have cover in both then that's a better more sensible approach?

Would you rather have essentially 4 left sided mids and no RB or three and a RB
