But apparently because McNeil played against Mansfield he’s still in the managers thoughts and he’s an important player moving forward

Half the time he stands still anywhere across the midfield and I wouldn’t say his set pieces area a massive strength looking at him in the cup game which you would expect him to try and stand out he looked well off the pace

I expect he'll be moved on with time but we cannot be selling squad depth at this moment when we still have gaps in starting positions.

I think there would have been some sort of whisper by now about a link if anything was happening.

A right back and a centre mid (good ones) would have made this a 10/10 window, but I think we are going to end up 7 or 8 out of 10.

I expect we are being very careful as imagine we are being hawked a lot of unwanted players from elsewhere. We've got one more loan we can make use of, no way we don't use it I don't think so be interesting to see who we get in. It will be happening, don't worry.

That's not how a squad works. What you are saying is the footballing equivalent of robbing Peter to pay Paul.
You can't justify leaving yourself short in one position to fill another you are already short in.

I find it bizarre beyond belief that we haven’t picked up at least one free agent or another loan outside of Grealish.

2 strikers. And 2 experienced centre midfielders, maybe 3 with KDH at a push and 6 players for the wide and 10 roles. Not sure you’ve thought this through
