Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Moyes brought Coleman on ahead of him yesterday though mate, so that means we don’t need him. Wasn’t because we wanted an extra defensive player on to see out the match.
I get what you are saying, but he is 4th choice LW, 4th choice RW, and potentially 6th choice as CAM.

I saw someone earlier say he is a good option when it’s a tight game and we want to see it out. Which would be fine, except when that was the case, we brought Coleman on.

I’m happy keeping him, as think he could offer us something, but Moyes seems not to rate him, and he has gone from being a regular starter to what? 4th choice in both his primary and secondary positions.

If an offer came in, it wouldn’t surprise me if the club took it, or if he pushed to go because he wants regular game time having been a starter for so long.

We aren’t short on the wings anymore (as people keep saying we are barebones). We are short in other positions, but not his positions.

As I said, I dont make the rules.

Heard of Asian betting syndicates?

The magic of Guardiola.
Yeah, he only won 5 or so titles and the CL and a thousand cups but While scoring goals quite a bit, but Guardiola ruined him because he didn’t hoof or something. He’s also still 25.

Hope we also get ruined by winning all that in a decade tbh. You won’t care about any playstyle if we were winning 80% of matches anyway

I just don’t think Guardiola is a players’ manager at all. Ibrahimovic doesn’t seem to rate him at all and I felt he ruined a very good Bayern team by making it a poor man’s Barca.

How different would his career had been if he wasn’t lucky enough to be managing Messi?

He’s not managed messi at all in the prem and is doing well.

Ibra is a well known knobhead, no idea why his opinion would be so highly valued, as you ignore every other player saying the opposite, even quite a few at Bayern

Guardiola is rubbish is a different take, I’ll give you that.

I’m not saying he’s rubbish. He’s good at implementing a mathematical Spanish style of play that makes football about as entertaining as pouring paint stripper into your eyes.

Obviously his style of play is successful but he does it by killing the unpredictability of the sport… the thing that makes it entertaining in the first place!

He’s the football equivalent of one of those quantitative stock funds that play the math to squeeze out over performance.
