I dunno. If you listen to Moyes presser comments, he suggests he's been looking for players that have attributes we don't currently have.

Gallagher doesn't fall into that rationale.

Yeah I've only caught a couple of her trips to grounds before but she seems really sound, properly invested in her topics.

Yes, in theory they've focused mainly on the attack this window.

Next summer you'd expect they look at the next area which looks weakest. So either midfield or defence.

However, we've spent around £130mil this window. Surely we wont be able to do the same next season with PSR.

There will have to be sales. I suspect we'll see Branthwaite sold and an entire new back 4 signed - unless Anzou or O'Brien really step up.

Moyes has mentioned in a few press conferences about the defence so I’d be surprised if he’s not thinking about shoring that up with the loans. I think the plan originally was to sort out the midfield and attacking options as we had a strong defence at the end of the season but with the poor goals we are conceding at the moment he may be thinking we need a few more in those positions to cover. Hard to know with him really.

It would be short term thinking by him if he went there. They are in freefall and their strongest players are centre mids already, so where does he fit. He turned down going to Ipswich, who are spending big in terms of Championship fees, so seems like he is waiting for the right move.

Interesting to see if anything happens with regards to Tim or McNeill going out too.
