2025/26 Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

I think you'll find that i wanted him 2 years ago. When we were fighting relegation :)

I simply dont see him as a 10 at all. Whether that makes me 'wrong', I dont see that even after today :)

Even in the Roma game i didnt see it when he got alot of praise.

What I see is an attack minded 8 being used too far forward. I think if he was used deeper then he has the whole pitch ahead of him and can spray the ball around and be that player to link midfield with 3 or 4 players in front of him.

I'm not seeing a 10. After his goal he looked VERY effective in the advanced role. If he can be that player to elevate the team then not many will be happier than me.

I just think that we could have signed someone with the £25-30mil or whatever it ends up being to takeover from Gana - because for me as an 8 (where i see him as used best) they occupy similar spaces on the pitch.

I'd be surprised if i'm wrong about him moving into the 8 role and see others as superior as 10s.
I don’t necessarily think the current format or placing of players has any bearing as yet. The current line up is the best that can be mustered with the playing staff available. Once dibling and barry are up to speed, our final signings are made and Jarrad is back in the team, i think we will see Moyes set them up quite differently.

Thought he struggled a little bit in the first half but second half he was brilliant and topped it off with a great goal.

Well played.
I agree, I thought in the first half he struggled to influence the game as much by not getting the ball in the right positions. Second half was totally different. What surprised me most is the engine on him, he was closing down right to the end.

He is a bit sloppy in possession at times when he could do better (there was a chance to play Ndiaye in that he passed behind him in the 2nd half) but some of his play yesterday was a joy to watch.

Along with Grealish and Ndiaye he was unplayable at times and Wolves couldn't live with him.

Top performance and hope we see more of it. Intricate passing, great link up play and an outstanding finish for the goal.

There were a few times in the game were we had great opportunities but players either didn’t see the right pass or didn’t execute it. But I think we sometimes underestimate how easy things are when we watch on TV. Every pass looks easy and obvious on TV. It obviously much harder on the field. I have seen the best passer the premier league has seen in KDB butcher countless counter attacks by choosing the wrong pass or poor execution. Even the very best don’t always get it right.

There were a few times in the game when KDH and Grealish played first time balls inside the fullback against a packed defence which were just like watching City at their best. Wherever we finish it’s great to know that we should be able to field 4/5 proper creative balls in every game. We will create chances and be good to watch this season. Such a shift from the attritional rubbish we have been used to for most of the last 10 years.

Being super critical but watched their second goal for about half a dozen times,he needs a kick up the arse defensively. Trotting back when he should be working hard to close down just isn't good enough. When we play the top sides that's what makes the difference.

Extremely clever player. Constantly moving, overlapping, underlapping, moving defenders around.

I love the guy

(Not as much as I love Jack though)
