Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

I think they would. It’s best having three strikers but don’t think Moyes would mind if he just had the two.
I think Ndiaye would be emergency Striker in that instance.

It's telling that even without a top class striker we've scored 7 in the last 3 games, largely due to the quality behind.

However, I can't see the point of selling a relatively low wage, relatively young player for a loss, unless we plan to bring 'something' else in...

We have two strikers we paid 25-30m each on, we do not have a single right back or defensive midfielder at the club worth calling it.
I agree, but long term (as in the next 35 games) a good striker will win us more games than a RB or CM will save us. Not only for the goals, but the ability to take the pressure off the defence by holding on to the ball.

We won't have long to wait to see what happens.

It doesn't appear to be a lack of finance if we don't do anything, Moyes would have said it.

He said only yesterday we still needed players. Boyland said earlier in the week that there was cash but not of the sort spent on Dibling. If they want to do a couple of loans then it's open to them.

I wonder if we'll get a late loan for Dovbyk?

Hard to find decent quality in the loan market to walk into a starting spot which is what we are after.

This squad isn't the desperate for bodies one we had under Dyche.
Little bit of sympathy for Dyche, he was hampered by the p&s gubbins that landed on us, so his job (which was already a nightmare) was made more difficult, and the pressure just ramped up from there. We survived with him and survived him. Fair play.
