Even if they weren't actively pursuing anyone they will still be offered players most likely. An opportunity might come up.

It would be disappointing nonetheless if they adopted a passive attitude and brought nobody in. It has been a great week and now is the time to build on it and add to it.

So it seems like Fort is leaving Barca. Held out of training today. Likely to Mallorca on a loan. Given where we are with the window fingers crossed we can jump in. Of course those in charge may not even want him — the window is so silly. It’s like when you’re hoping to win the lottery (which is silly enough) but in this situation we don’t even know if we have a ticket. So we’re hoping we both have a ticket somehow (find one on the ground) and then that ticket comes through. The window!

40m quid to get Sanchez from Sevilla and Frendrup from Genoa would imo give us a team good enough to be involved top 6

I think they would. It’s best having three strikers but don’t think Moyes would mind if he just had the two.

I think they would. It’s best having three strikers but don’t think Moyes would mind if he just had the two.

I'm pretty sure he'd regard Ndiaye as being able to play up there as third choice

Striker most important for me. But yes, I saw a stat earlier that said we’ve received 3.4m in transfers and spent 109m on transfers. That’s a great start from the owners.

Same price thereabouts would get Ivanovic from Millwall , Van Weijk from Coventry and Hackney from Boro.

Both scenarios would be great.
But feel we do need another CF.

Same, when we brought Tim on today I seriously wished it would have been Armstrong as he's far more composed on the ball.
