2025/26 Tyler Dibling

Not for nothing but a player who played the entire season in the Premier League shouldn't need to be "bedded" in.
Scored 3 goals without him. Not sure who comes out at the moment. He’s in the squad now, the fee is somewhat irrelevant, needs to get match fit and beat one of the midfielder out for a place.

Dibling will need to earn a place in the starting line-up and that is nothing against him as a player. He has older players with more experience to compete with for a place in the starting eleven. Perhaps his role will be to run tired defenders ragged in a manner which will put opponents to the sword. I just cannot see him walking into the side at present and he may have to wait a few weeks to get his first start.

How good is that to say?

Previously we've bought promising youth and they've had to come in and hit the ground running. That pressure would break a man

Let him ease in and then watch him cook second half of the season

Strong performance today from Dibling.

I think the intent was there for Moyes to sub him in late. But when things got tight and we had good synergy with the starters, I think the decision was made to keep him on the bench. I don’t disagree with the gaffer.
