He’s deffo that kind of signing. And he seems the sort of character that would thrive on that spotlight and pressure.

Another point to consider is that the entire media spotlight will be on him and the stadium. So the other signings will be able to go about their business quietly without ridiculous expectations and scrutiny. Again, I feel this is something that he’d be comfortable with and also thrive off. We’re on to a winner here.

I think the worry some had was Grealish would stifle N’Diaye’s development. But such talented players tend to actually relish playing together.

Really good performance. The best we've been going forward for a long time. Probably pre Benitez.

Essential we get Braithwaite back though. I worry about the likes of Keane and Tarkowski if we're playing on the front foot. They can defend when our backs are against the wall but I always feel edgy when they're up around the half way line.

Without being contentious I will say that this version of Moye's Everton has shown and has the potential to be a better watch than a majority of Moye's Everton the first time around. We certainly had moments of quality back then with Arteta, Peinar, Barkely and Mirales, but we also seemed to rely on effort and physicality to compensate for flashy football. Im liking the balance of this version so far
