I don’t recommend we splash any big amounts about like. A cheap young option at CB, or a loan with option type thing. Same again at CM would be nice, but that’s defo it for our big spending.

I haven’t seen the player. But if he’s signing for Burnley with an option to buy, I don’t think he’s at the required level for us. People are going mad that we’ve considered buying their best player (Brownhill) last year on a free.

They are willing to sell either Fred or Aramabat for around €20M to fund a move for Bissouma.

They tried to sign Bissouma at the start of the window, but it was vetoed by Jose. He has gone now, so they are back in for him.

Any of those 3 would do as a DM.

Whilst I'm not wild about the idea of Soucek, I think the manager has to be backed with the players he wants.

Again, this is the issue with where we have been for the last 4-5 years. "Backing the manager for who he wants" isn't, in theory, a bad call. The issue is that managers get such a short leash that buying players for one manager then, inevitably, sacking him leaves us with a ton of players that the next (and next and next) managers wouldn't have bought. Get the hell away from that model.

What's chermiti book value from a psr perspective? Ideally we would want to make even a small profit...not sure rangers has the financial power to make us a good offer...a few millions if that.
