Terrible idea to send him to a no mark league.

He does well there then so what its a no mark league it means nothing. He does poorly there then he's not good enough for a no mark league.

He should be going to the championship at the minimum.

This feels very much like the club has given up on him and aren't remotely intrested in developing him. But just willing to get whatever they can for him.

Very poor from the club imo

I agree with this ,apart from the Championship being preferable.
Away from the clutch of top clubs the Championship is overrated and is largely a league of ‘cloggers’.
The gap between the bulk of that league and the PL gets wider every season.
Newly promoted clubs have to expensively revamp their side or face the inevitable drop.
A European league would have been a better choice , as with Branthwaite.
