We’re crying out for a number 6. Someone who sits in front of the back four, breaks up play and give the ball to one of our now numerous attacking midfielders to do their thing. Another attacking midfielder is exactly NOT what we need! Paqueta or Soucek would be a complete head scratcher right now. We now currently have more attacking midfield options than any other position in the team.

Or, simply a market opportunity? An opportunity to get a player in on a free early doors when we needed a significant number of incomings. Doesn’t necessarily mean they saw right back as a priority when they went for him.

Midfielder. Gana is nearly 40 and he’s going to AFCON.

At right back we have O’Brien and Garner could do a job at last.

While I want to believe that, I still feel that we either think we need an RB or we don’t. It’s a long season to go with ‘he will do’

I guess as tete was free it would some sense but, still shows lack of plan/direction
