Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

You said there is NO Doubt they are aligned. I’m giving an opinion you’re trying to pass yours off as fact
Its a forum mate, nothing I say is fact, the whole site is fuelled by conjecture and peoples opinion, but for avoidance of doubt.

I know no facts about any of the inner workings of Everton Football Club or football in general, all views posted from this day and all days previously have only ever been my opinion, any questions you can contact my Lawyer, @davek

We doing this again?

All players signed this Summer will have been agreed by Moyes AND the transfer committee.

No doubt they all agree and are aligned.
I think people expect every signing to be a talented U23 player, we’ve already signed a few of those this summer in Aznou, Barry and Dibling. I imagine there’ll be an aligned vision to add a bit more experience as well. I don’t love the prospect of signing Soucek myself but I can definitely see why they fancy him.

People have this idea of who we should sign.

Its Andre Gomes.

You know, if he was as good as he looked.

So a big lumbering oaf like Soucek, he doesnt get the juices flowing.

Its laughable that people keep saying Moyes hates youth.

  1. James Vaughan (Everton vs Crystal Palace on 10 April 2005) – 16 years, 270 days old
  2. James Milner (Leeds United vs Sunderland on 26 December 2002) – 16 years, 356 days old
  3. Wayne Rooney (Everton vs Arsenal on 19 October 2002) – 16 years, 360 days old
He doesn't hate the youth but he's very hesitant to hand them a start unless he's absolutely certain on them.

How long did we wait for Coleman to get a start at right back when Heitinga, Hibbert, and Neville where the other options?

I feel pretty much the same, I won't be overjoyed but I won't be underwhelmed either.
I can see the need for experience. I quite liked him playing for the Hammers.
