Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Hi folks. I hope you are all OK. Not much happening here at the moment. The Carabao Cup draw wasn't kind to us was it? I was quite heartened by Moyes comments that he is going to try and win a Cup.
Unfortunately Nacho is not settling. He still seems really sad and lonely. He's a bit more friendly - he has come out from behind the couch which is a positive but he doesn't interact. I have a feeling this is going to be a long job to gain his trust.
I'm doing overtime tomorrow and no plans for the rest of the weekend. Only three weeks to our holidays now.

That’s a difficult situation for you with Nacho anj, as you say it could be a long process. For the past 6 days we’ve been trying to carefully integrate our kitten Jenny with the other three cats. Slow , gradual progress is being made although there’s still a wee bit of growling and hissing from the two females when Jenny approaches them, she’s got such a lovely temperament, just backs off a bit and tries again later. Our ginger Tom though is a bit of a wuss , acts scared of her and hasn’t been seen now for two days . Mrsbl tries putting Jenny’s scent on various things like blankets and shares them with the other cats to get them to accept her , I don’t know if this would work with Nacho.

Poor Nacho must have been through a real hard time. On one of those badly behaved dog shows, I saw one pooch who was aggressive but they said it was due to fear. Once they were able to hand feed him once he started to settle. Just an idea.

I'm getting to play games that my old one couldn't but I'm still playing a lot of indie games lol I'm glad I got it though as there's a few games I've been wanting that my old one couldn't, so I've got a list and when the price is right I will be purchasing them.

I need to get a better chair for my posture as I'm pretty sure that's what is causing the headaches now. I need to do a bit of research. I'd love a lazy boy chair though 😂

I know from experience that you don't need to get a special chair to be a lazy boy T.😀

Invest in the best chair you can afford, it ended my neck pain in about 2 weeks (while I’m working)

I’m ok my friend. I have a series of tests arranged at hospital and have a colonoscopy booked on Monday to look forward to. I feel permanently tired but I think and hope that’s because of looking after Kay. Anyway I hope everyone in here is keeping well and enjoying life…..
 
Good morning all on this dull one here ,we just saw the first Elk since we moved over four years ago ,they are a big beast .I hope all are well and had a good night and have an even better day today .So nice to hear that @peteblue is gettig sorted it is sad how being so kind to the love of your life can sometimes cause you problems ,I am sure they will get to the bottom of it !!
Great to hear the really bad headaches are for now at least something of the past @Terrarian ,you may well be correct about the chair ,cannot you find which one you want from a shop then get a second hand one from @jazzy 's shop ? These gamers are always changing their chairs so they will be out there .
Matt's game was released last week but the guy putting it online missed one word on a list and it wasn't working properly -lots of bangs and whistles missing -it should be OK now he said .
I am a bit sad that Harrison is going out on loan but I can see the benefits as his games could be limited with Moyes ,people forget Rooney was not played early enough and he kept putting his debut off despite requests from all the fans .That part of him hasn't changed COYB

Sorry we don't really take in furniture, it's very small and we don't have the space

Morning all.

It isn't a gaming chair I am after blue, I mean a proper chair as my couch has lost it's firmness and has a dip in it, that's why my posture is bad. I might even see if replacement foam is a thing, need really firm stuff though.

Have you tried the British Heart Foundation or Oxfam furniture shops? They have some amazing stuff. I've bought wardrobes, dining tables and couches from them in the past.
