Even with Illy going to the AFCON, we'd have to be incredibly unlucky for both Beto and Barry to get injured over that time (remember that Beto isn't actually going to the AFCON himself).

Is everton only have to look at the start of the season having no natural fb and well last season we had 4 strikers who 3 got iniured in chermiti boja dcl. Imo i would like atleast 3 more players

Playing well at right back and playing well at centre back are completely different. Jake has barely played for us at centre back and when he has done he hasn't looked that convincing to me. You are just making a massive assumption. Myko is a better player than Keane but I don't think he would be a better centre back than Keane. Playing centre back is a specialist position.

You do realise that O'Brien is an actual centre back? He also played a full season there at Lyon and played well.

Also every position on the park is a specialist position, it's shy you don't see Ndiaye at right back or McNeil up front lad.

But funny to see so rine hang there neck out for Keane, it's that 1/3 games he played where we end up conceding 3+ in compared to doing that 1 in 11 when he dies t okay that must have you reckoning he's better than O'Brien

"We will go with what we've got" - oh dear, usually the line Moyes uses when he is not that hopeful. Doesn't sound like he believes the targets we have are doable by the deadline.

That also I think it may mean he's been told the ones he's pushed most for aren't doable as well - hopefully that means no Soucek but another "younger" option Moyes didn't want as much
