I think with the team we have now Richarlison would be perfect for us at centre forward, the other two could replace him on 60/70 minutes.

….i reckon he’d be some acquisition. Given his profile 12 months ago, you’d not have thought it a possibility. Sounds like United fixed on keeping him, the player would have to kick up a fuss to get a move.

If we were interested in him I'm sure Nick Cox would play a big part in him coming ,if it hampered Armstrong's progression would give it a miss

Problem is it's an obligation. If he's crap, you're stuck with him. Loan + option miles better.

Yeah I'm trying not to worry about it now, we clearly need a DM and RB the club either will - great, or stupidly fail to do so - which is what I've become used too anyways

And it will be poor if we don't, and I will be critical. But I'd also say we shouldn't go too overboard, as a lot of good stuff has been done this window and the usual it's hard to get it all done in one window stuff comes in.

There's a world where James Garner also does very well as a defensive midfield player.

Looks to have a lot of good raw material to work with imo.
Decision making/ end product needs developing but the way he receives, turns and gets away from his marker is very impressive.
