Just that feeling that this lad was highly touted when around 20-21 and never got a big move or close to it, now 26 so the alarm bells start ringing when the only team really after him is Burnley. If he'd been really good he'd have been off to Spain two or three years ago.

I'd take the Millwall lad for the price he's available. He's raw too but had a full season in a tough league. That Villarreal kid is 22 in October and played like 5 senior games.

Just on YouTube vids alone, I like the Millwall lad - soft spot for serbs as well ill admit, the lad from Villarreal - watched 8 minutes and left thinking errrrrm okay - looks like he's just a big lad v younger players

I would have thought there will be clauses in there, like if Burnley are relegated, or if he doesn’t play many games.
In premier league terms it’s still not expensive, the RS wanted him a few years ago and Benfica wanted €100m!

Getting three more in at this point feels like a stretch. Moyes keeps talking about being short in defence, rather than RB specifically, so it wouldn’t surprise me if they go after a versatile CB and keep O’Brien on the right for the time being.

Then if Chermiti goes they’ll look for a late loan at striker. I just wonder if they think they can make do at CM until January. Feels like noise around an Armstrong loan will give that away.
