Just gut instinct I think that the lad at Villarreal might arrive - contact between the clubs earlier was good over Barry - rangers trying for him and us sending Chermiti there instead. Fits the role of a development striker I guess.

DM - been nothing on I think is substantial rumour wise.

RB - lots of names but no real source worth anything attached to any. Sanchez still not going to Napoli gives me hope but

Yes there aren't any particular names being thrown about for DM.

Eyong / Ivanovic would be good options, could see Moyes preferring Ivanovic. Both would seem to be very affordable too.

Fort / Fisher / Maitland-Niles for RB. I'd like Fort but with Moyes comments I think he is looking for someone with experience and positional flexibility there so a loan for AMN perhaps.

The thing about deadline day is that names come out of nowhere though so that's what makes it fun, as long as you get the deals done.

I dunno about you but quite okay with not signing a third very raw "could be" striker. We already have 2 development strikers.

Beto isn't a development striker.

Yeah I'm trying not to worry about it now, we clearly need a DM and RB the club either will - great, or stupidly fail to do so - which is what I've become used too anyways

Problem is it's an obligation. If he's crap, you're stuck with him. Loan + option miles better.

I'd take the Millwall lad for the price he's available. He's raw too but had a full season in a tough league. That Villarreal kid is 22 in October and played like 5 senior games.
